If you're looking to get a head start on your legal career, our summer vacation scheme gives you the opportunity to experience life and work at °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ.
We offer around 10 places on our summer vacation scheme across the majority of our offices, taking place in the last two weeks of June. You’ll be given the opportunity to undertake real work as well as learning more about the legal departments and the firm with our people. Throughout the scheme, you’ll be assessed for a place on our Trainee Solicitor Pathway (previously called a training contract).
Your placement will be in one of our legal teams where you’ll work on a range of tasks. Throughout your time with us, you’ll be supported by a supervisor, and you’ll get constructive feedback on what you’re doing well and how you could be even better. As well as spending time with a legal team, the two weeks will also include:
- training and development activities and a project to help you build/develop your skills
- opportunities to speak to our trainee solicitors, managing partner, lawyers and business colleagues
- talks from our departments so you can find out more about the firm, the work we do and our clients
You’ll also be provided with financial assistance (£300 per week) to help with travel and/or accommodation costs.
Below are some of our frequently asked questions. If you still have any further questions, contact our emerging talent team - we'd love to hear from you.
