Strolll: HealthTech for rehabilitation

We are proud to have worked with Strolll on contracts for their ground-breaking augmented reality (AR) technology, which helps Parkinson's disease patients regain independence by improving their strength and mobility. With Strolll's vision, this AR technology will also positively impact healthcare service providers and support patients with a wider range of neurological disorders.

Featured experience

Cambridge Heartwear

Advising Cambridge Heartwear on its terms of sale, key policies and IP relating to its wearable heart monitoring technology, which uses real time data and cutting-edge artificial intelligence.

Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency

Advised on the migration of IT services under the CCS model framework agreement. This involved re-negotiating an existing agreement to allow for a smooth exit. We advised on the procurement process with multiple bidders, recommending the best risk mitigation strategies in respect of the transaction.

Also advised the MHRA on sub- licensing various services and on protecting its intellectual property.

NHS England

Advised the NHS on the outsourcing of its 111 telephone network services and a suite of new digital services using natural language processing. The contract supports both day to day use of the 111 number and use as part of the National Pandemic Flu Service, which is also being used as part of the Covid response along with the 119 number. The contract also covered cloud telephony services to support the delivery of the 111 call handling services.

Advised the NHS on its disaggregation of existing services into separate towers as part of its Future Services Programme. This included advising on the service requirements, service levels and associated remedies and subsequent advice to the NHS regarding the exit of the incumbent service provider.

Clinical Commissioning Group to Integrated Care Board transition

Advised multiple developing Integrated Care Systems (ICSs) on how to meet their information law duties during transition and develop wider digital ICS policies to implement better data sharing. The introduction of an electronic patient record is an important step in developing how patient data is shared and our advice has covered wide use to benefit care in health and care settings. This work has been coupled with ensuring the safe transfer of data into new statutory bodies and developing new ways to share data more widely, as the new regulatory bodies merge and form.
