At °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, we’re committed to improving equality, diversity and inclusion (EDI) across business and society. That’s why we’ve partnered with the University of Nottingham to conduct an insurance market survey, which launched on Thursday 19 January 2023.
The survey aims to identify current issues in relation to EDI in the UK insurance sector, identify best practices and define key priorities, and as a result, enable future Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) responsibility to be achieved in a sustainable manner and in a way that addresses the broader commercial priorities of insurance businesses. The findings will then help assess current perceptions of EDI and identify the key priorities of those in the sector hoping to reach future EDI goals.
Global diversity research has consistently found that more diverse teams have higher profit margins, greater staff retention and well-being and the ability to create more innovative ideas. To ensure we get an accurate representation and results, we’re asking all those that work within the insurance sector to complete the survey to help in achieving excellent participation. Being part of the survey will ensure change is made within the sector for both organisations and employees of all levels. We are also looking for participants to discuss personal experiences of EDI in insurance in a short online interview to provide more detailed insights to enhance the survey findings.
