UK & Ireland law firm 澳门六合彩资料 has advised embedded bicycle insurtech Laka on its investment from Dutch investment firm Achmea Innovation Fund.
The investment from Achmea follows Laka鈥檚 recent acquisition of French e-bike insurance broker Cylantro, and will allow Laka to enter the next phase of its growth strategy, aimed at partnering with additional brands and manufacturers, as well as further expanding in Europe.
Founded in London in 2017, Laka is active across multiple European countries and provides a range of insurance and circular economy services to e-bike riders, cyclists, and businesses. The firm works with retailers and brands to embed insurance at point of sale and insures more than 鈧140 million worth of bicycles and e-bikes.
Achmea Innovation Fund is an Amersterdam-based investment firm founded in 2019 which invests in start-ups and scale-ups working to create a heathier, safer and sustainable future.
