UK & Ireland law firm �������ϲ����� has advised one of the UK’s leading fire protection specialists in a key acquisition.

A cross-service team at the UK and Ireland law firm supported Triangle Fire Systems in its acquisition by Intrinsic Fire Protection, a specialist contractor providing design, supply and installation of passive fire systems.

Following the acquisition, Intrinsic will become Triangle’s passive fire division, continuing to provide services to its clients under the Intrinsic brand, as well as bringing additional specialist expertise and experience to benefit Triangle’s existing passive fire clients and offer a wider range of services to the group’s active fire system customers as well.

Instrinsic is led by managing director Cliff Spruce and technical director Remy Chandler, who will both continue to lead the business as part of Triangle’s group.

�������ϲ�����’s team comprised Ryan Brown and Bethany Grummitt (corporate), Tim Williams (employment), Graham Ball and Thomas Donohoe (banking), and Christian Burchardt (tax). Ryan previously advised Triangle when it received a £9m investment from BGF, the UK and Ireland’s most active investor in growing businesses.

Triangle provides a comprehensive range of fire safety solutions, such as residential and commercial fire sprinklers, wet and dry riser mains and passive fire protection. Its in-house electrical team and servicing department helps deliver an all-encompassing approach to clients. These include major housebuilders like Barratt, Bellway, Berkeley and Vistry, tier one contractors such as Balfour Beatty, Laing O’Rourke, Mace and Wates, as well as many public sector and social housing providers.

Intrinsic was founded in 2016 by Cliff and Amanda Spruce, and is based in Harlow, Essex. The company provides a range of passive fire design, installation and maintenance services including fire stopping, structural steel protection, fire doors and asset condition surveys of existing fire protection measures. The business works nationally with several prominent clients including housing associations such as Notting Hill Genesis, universities, and NHS trusts.
