Carmen is an Associate in the commercial digital and sourcing team in London. She has experience in advising on a wide range of commercial and outsourcing contracts across a number of different sectors, with a focus on financial services, ESG and technology. Carmen places particular importance on building and maintaining strong and successful client relationships that span across an organisation. Having acted both in-house and in private practice as legal counsel, Carmen has developed a mature understanding of her clients’ needs and practices.
Carmen advises domestic and international clients on commercial, corporate and regulatory matters across a wide range of regulated and non-regulated industries. She has a particular focus on supply chain and third party business arrangements, and has supported clients in navigating the Scope 3 Greenhouse Gas reporting requirements of the ESG regulatory environment and its impact on their procurement policies.
Clients value Carmen’s strength in communicating and collaborating with them on projects spanning across a number of jurisdictions, and has been commended on her attitude and work ethic.
Carmen has a passion for driving forward social mobility within the legal industry, as well as recognising the importance and impact of diversity, equity and inclusiveness in any professional environment. Prior to joining °ÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê×ÊÁÏ, she sat as Chair and Board Member on a number of different DE&I boards and communities. She has worked extensively with charities supporting refugees across the UK, and continues to mentor aspiring young lawyers.
