Mia is an Associate in our Commercial Disputes team specialising in managing and resolving contentious commercial and contractual matters. Mia covers all aspects of commercial litigation from the pre-action stages including claims for breach of contract, negligence, misrepresentation and consumer disputes. Mia has nine years’ experience of commercial dispute resolution and, in October 2020, qualified as a Chartered Legal Executive.
Mia’s caseload includes contractual and tortious claims for a wide range of clients including companies in the logistics, automotive, energy, retail and technology and insurance sector as well as the NHS and wider health sector, local authorities and education institutions. Mia has supported a number of corporate client’s on key pieces of litigation including disputes around defective goods, breach of contract, the Data Protection Act 1998 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Mia promotes the use of alternative methods of dispute resolution as a means of minimising the cost that can be associated with disputes.
