Government opens applications for Future Fund

On 18 May 2020, the Government announced further details of the Future Fund scheme, being the scheme aimed at supporting earlier stage businesses during the Covid-19 crisis. This follows the initial unveiling of the on 20 April 2020.
In broad terms, the Future Fund is a 拢250 million government fund which will provide convertible loans to UK-based companies (鈥渋nvestee companies鈥) ranging from 拢125,000 to 拢5 million, subject to at least equal match funding from private investors (鈥渕atched investors鈥). The scheme will be delivered in partnership with the .
Applications can be made for funding from the Future Fund from 20 May 2020 until the end of September 2020.
