As well as providing day-to-day support to help you focus on managing your settings, we also provide training and professional development on a range of topics to keep you and your staff up-to-date.

Here are the three most popular topics and courses so far this academic year. While these courses are fully booked for 2022 we’re opening up additional cohorts for the new year so be sure to request early to avoid missing out.

Data Protection

Our Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced courses for Data Protection Officers in schools and trusts empower Data Protection Officers (DPOs) to drive data protection compliance regardless of their current level of expertise.

The 20+ hour courses are so popular we have opened up additional cohorts from March 2023.

For data protection, GDPR and information security training for your workforce, take a look at our innovative EduCompli training platform – fun and engaging for staff, full of reporting and analysis for leaders.

Safeguarding

The next cohort of our Trust DSL course begins in March 2023. 72 Trust Lead DSLs and Directors of Safeguarding have attended the course so far, will you be next?

With the changes to the expectation for Board training in KCSIE 2022 and a number of changes to safer recruitment in the 2021 and 2022 versions of that guidance, our Board Training package, Safeguarding for Lead Governor course and our Safer Recruitment update session have been very popular. Follow the links to book your place. Our Safer Recruitment Support Pack is worth a look too.

For safeguarding training for the wider workforce, our fun and engaging EduCompli training platform offers great training for staff and detailed reporting and analysis for leaders.

Exclusions

With new statutory exclusions guidance coming into force, lots of schools and trusts have attended our Exclusions Training for senior leadership teams and boards to get themselves up to date. Our Exclusions Support Pack has also been very popular, helping schools and trusts apply the new rules consistently and effectively.
